Wanted to make a quick little shout-out to one of mis carnales here on campus—el pintor y art instructor Gabriel Navar. He's doing some pretty thoughtful stuff here, and composes visual entities with decidedly Chicanismo, socio-lismo, techno-lismo, and surreal(lismo) overtones to them.
