The Third Biennial International Conference of the Contemporary Women's Writing Network in collaboration with San Diego State University, the Master of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences, and other sponsoring departments is going to take place July 7-9, 2010 at the Hilton Gaslamp with over 170 delegates from six continents and across the US.
Confirmed Featured Speakers include Susan Stanford Friedman, Thadious M. Davis, Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni, Caroline Bergvall, Rae Armantrout, Cristina Rivera-Garza, Anna Joy Springer and Elizabeth Willis.
I am going to be busy on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, delivering a paper, "Remedios Varo, Frida Kahlo, and Cristina Rivera-Garza: Painter/Diarist/Novelist in Front of the Seductive Mirror," chairing a panel, and introducing Caroline Bergvall. The entire conference lineup is here. My panels are highlighted on the graphic opposite.
UPDATE
Just in case there is a computer handy in the conference tomorrow, I am uploading a graphic that complements my presentation.
