"Touch of Evil (Universal International, 1958). Belgian (14" X 21").This dark and seedy tale of corruption and murder stars, and is written and directed by, legendary performer Orson Welles. Charleton Heston is Miguel "Mike" Vargas, who brings along his new wife Janet Leigh, as he investigates a bombing that involves policemen Welles and Joseph Calleia. A highlight of the film are the cameos by Marlene Dietrich, Joseph Cotten, Keenan Wynn, and Zsa Zsa Gabor. Light restoration has been applied to tax stamp stains in the upper right and bottom left, glue residue from a snipe and a chip in the imprint area, two tears in the left border into the artwork, a tear in the bottom and top border and a light scuff in the top right. Vibrant color and superb portraits of the stars fill this Belgian poster. Fine+ on Linen."
