Decals of Sleeping Mexicans and other 30s/40s Era Ideas for Decorating Your Room

I write about these decals in the Seductive Hallucination galleries of Tex[t]-Mex, but I had not thought till now to post these wall-decorating lovelies here on the blog. I like to dream of growing up in a room decorated with these lovelies and trying to think how that might have warped my already addled mind--my room in Laredo was tattooed, instead, with Wacky Packages, much to the rage of my mother. In any event, here they are from the Meyercord Company, of Chicago, and the Duochrome Company of New York and Los Angeles, wall appliques of a "Mexican" yesteryear.
