The Restoration: Chicano Osmosis and Rita Hayworth from VIOLENCE AND THE BODY

I am in the process of restoring files that were massacred when I stepped down as webmaster of literature.sdsu.edu, Fall 2009--two are now available again: English 606a: Osmosis, Fracture, and Desire in the Chicana/o Novel (hit the image, opposite) and "When Electrolysis Proxies for the Existential" from Violence and the Body for Indiana University Press (click on lovely Rita, above).

The Chicana/o novel seminar eventually morphed into the xicanosmosis section of Tex[t]-Mex; the Rita piece similarly found its final form in Seductive Hallucinations of the "Mexican" in America.

UPDATE

Two more restorations, "'Pee-wee Watching" and "Artif[r]acture," are live here.
